Falling in love with another man his first year in college, he followed him to another university to maintain their platonic love, while he continued in his in studies. Soon a mainstream story, "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again Hooray", published also. In 2012 Pablo self-published his first novel, "Catnip, Rosemary, Rage and Time", combining mystery and humor in a gay, erotic romance. Here’s a snippet from my latest release, His Captive’s Heart. In this snippet, Marcus is telling Dimitri how he felt while kneeling next to Dimitri as he fed him food.  
“Now tell me, did you like it?” he asked as he ran his fingers over my nipples again. This time, instead of pinching them, he flicked them, which sent another wave of need to my groin.
“I actually did. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to, but I was surprised at how I felt. You clearly showed that you cared about me by feeding me first and making sure that I had enough water to drink. It really wasn’t that awful.”
“Yes, I enjoy you kneeling because it shows that you’re submitting to me.” He brought his fingers back to my side and lazily ran them back and forth. “Do you think you’d prefer to eat all of your meals that way this weekend, or would you like to eat them sitting next to me at the table?”
I had to think about that for a minute. I didn’t want to say ‘never again’ to something that I had enjoyed. However, I didn’t want to always have to eat that way.

“That sounds like a fair request. I won’t always require you to eat your meals kneeling either.

    Alright, folks. Since May 17 is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, this blog post is going to be a bit different in flavor than all my previous posts, because I heard about HAHABT (Hop against Homophobia, Bi- and Transphobia) and could hardly wait to participate for the first time this year!

    As an author whose work debuted in April 2014 with a bisexual female lead protagonist, of course I've wondered about my sanity! Why, M/M is more lucrative and therefore more prevalent. Why not jump on the bandwagon? So here's a DIY interview to answer those burning questions!

    Question (Q): What inspired you to focus on writing LGBT fiction?

    Jacintha Topaz (JT): My characters compelled me to write. For the past year, I’ve focused on writing contemporary erotic fiction focusing on lesbian and bisexual female characters in metropolitan areas and some of the LGBT issues that arise there. Recently, I began to write from a “what-if” standpoint and dove in with gay/transgender characters to delve into science fiction/futuristic erotic fiction.
    In essence, though, all of my stories are romances that end with either a happy for now (HFN) or a happily ever after (HEA). Too often in the past (and present) LGBT characters/people have been stigmatized, demonized, psychologized, etc, with way too many unhappy endings in all kinds of media. I hope that my one drop in the ocean will increasingly add to the prevalence and availability of happy stories of ordinary people seeking love and partnership.

    Q: Why did  you debut in the bisexual female menage genre?

    JT: Often, women in general are raised to be people-pleasers who negate their own needs and desires. That's why the Purr Billionaire BDSM Trio serial exists. (btw, the first book in the serial is free.) I chose to star a bisexual female protagonist who gets the best of both worlds -- a man and a woman. Instead of her desires going unmet, I made sure that plenty of her desires got met.

    Q: A menage? Isn't that another genre that usually stars MFM?

    JT: LOL. Yes! So I purposefully wrote the story so that it was MFF or FFM, depending on whether you'd like the ladies to be listed first. :-)

    Q: This might be an obvious question. Since the FF is listed together, do the two females really couple with each other?

    JT: Yes. Although the female in the middle is the bisexual one, the other one is lesbian.

    Q: Speaking of females, can you tell us a little bit about your debut into the FF genre?

    JT: There isn't much to tell. In my DykeLove Quickies series, I chose to star females who know what they want and go after that. Unapologetically. The series is full of feisty women that have me riveted to the keyboard, wondering just what they'd have me type next.

    Q: How much say do you really have over your characters in the direction of your stories, given that you mentioned that you also choose the kind of story that you write?

    JT: Well, I write romance. So every story ends with either the HFN (Happy for Now) or the HEA (Happily Ever After). My characters have issues and often get to the HFN, not the HEA. So you can count on the direction of my stories to always end in a happy manner. 

    In terms of my characters, they're the boss. Sometimes, I can let it (my creativity) rip and get a couple thousand words out onto my computer in no time. Some days, I get only one sentence in or delete a whole bunch of words because somehow I've lost the connection to my characters and am out of integrity with their desire to move forward in the story.

    Q: So you're the slave or submissive to their Dominant desires?

    JT: LOL! That's one way of looking at it!

    Q: Can you comment on the kink--how it gets into your stories?

    JT: Although BDSM is increasingly popular and out of the closet in the mainstream these days, it still has some of that forbidden flavor. So yeah, gotta have the kink. :-) My stories have more of the BD than the SM... for now.

    Q: Speaking of SM, your MM debut has a rather sadistic lieutenant. Can you tell us more about that?

    JT: Lieutenant Ash has a penchant for imparting pain and pleasure. In Vaughn 1 in the Man X Chronicles, a futuristic science fiction gay/trans erotic romance, he has a crush on one of the leading males and is heartbroken over it. He acts out and will probably piss off the readers. I cut that scene out because it was 100% pain with zero pleasure. Given I'm such a softie when it comes to my characters, I might just find him his Happily Ever After. Just not in Vaughn's serial. :-)

    July scouted the area for reliable bike parking. Too bad the meters were chopped off in favor of machines in the middle of the block that dispensed validated parking tickets after payment. Having lost a bike previously when she locked it to a young tree that was later sliced all the way through--

    Now July was hesitant to park her primary means of income and transportation anywhere without a metal post. Circling the block and the vicinity, she realized that there was no trustworthy option for her to lock the bike. As time ticked, she entertained the idea of bringing the bike on site. There had to be room somewhere inside the building for her to park the bike and lock it in place within her sight.

    Mind made up, July pedaled back to the location in question and dismounted. She wheeled the bike through the double doors and was immediately greeted by a Hispanic woman with a clipboard. The woman gave July an appreciative once-over and grinned. “You look like you’re in the right place. I’m Lars. I have some paperwork for you to look over and fill out, if you choose to participate in the project. Please have a seat.”

    “Thanks,” July said. She took the clipboard and walked her bike over to the designated seating area that already accommodated a handful of people. Leaning her bike against the wall, even before she sat down, one of the seated women with tricolor dye in her hair had abruptly stood up and returned the clipboard to Lars and then vacated the building.

    Huh.

    July felt uneasy. Just what was in this paperwork that someone would willingly walk away from a hundred bucks for a couple hours of one’s time?

    Now seated July eyed the first page, which summarized the mission and purpose of Project Cream. Okay, if “cream” had anything to do with what she thought it did then maybe there was a reason why the tricolor chick left.

    Overall, a wonderful collection of sexy men getting what they desire -- the men who got away, the men who they've dreamed of, the men whom they thought would never, and more. Although composed of short stories, each author painted their characters rich with depth and pulled me right into their worlds from the opening paragraphs. Definitely highly recommended, especially if you're into M/M reads.

    “Yes, thank me.” Sangita’s phone pinged with what must have been the outgoing text, because she next put away her phone and smiled. “She specializes in all kinds of twosomes, moresomes, same-sex, genderbent, kink—you name it. She’s worked with them, and I’m sure she can work with you. She’s the best in the field.”

    Despite her heart skipping a beat with hope, Mercedes let the sarcasm sneak into her voice. “Um, aren’t you forgetting that relationship experts only work with people in a relationship?”

    Sangita smiled with satisfaction. “Yes, and that’s why she’s perfect for your situation. She says that the most important relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves.”

    “Okay, I’m beginning to like the idea—just a little—at least the principle behind her work.” Mercedes’ phone beeped and vibrated from what she knew was Gita’s incoming text.

    “Besides, she has been active in the CS movement and have helped plenty of people who look just like you and me.”

    “CS?” asked Mercedes, perplexity showing in her furrowed brows.

    “My code for Cultural Sensitivity,” Sangita said. “She’s conscious about your cultural values and how they inform what you do and don’t want in your life.”

    “You sound like you’ve seen her.” Pieces of the puzzle started to click into place. Maybe that was why Gita had been able to find her wife so soon. After all, they were the same age – twenty-four. Could this person be the one that Gita had hired for her own personal and relationship development? Gita didn’t strike her as a legal expert who would seek such personal counsel. “Hey, wait a minute, are you referring me to a shrink?”

    Sangita laughed as she smacked a bill on the table and got up. “You’d be living la vida loca if you don’t plan to see her.”
